Hobocloth Flax

One of our most popular blanket weight fabrics! Woven in a very rustic fashion, hobocloth is a linsey, woolsey. A fabric with a linen warp and a woolen weft. The properties of of this textile are remarkable, easy to wash, warm and soft while being breathable and comfortable to the skin. The more you use and wash Hobocloth the better it gets. Perfect for upholstery, accesories, cushions and blankets. Fringing cutting and seaming reccomended. This is an ultra high end fabric but loves to touched and used all the time... expect your Hobocloth to give you years of fantastic use.

The lightest of the colour group, Flax is a warm caramel colored textile perfect in natural settings. Flecked with brown and grey and warm ochre this multitonal offers a warm respite from your cold cold life. 

Heavy wash, dryer ok! Hobocloth is a stonewashed fabric, and as such has already been mill laundered. One of the easiest fabrics in our collection to look after, a simple wash and dry and you are good to go. As with all linens it is best to use less soap and an extra rinse. Hot dryer is fine, but do expect shrinkage of upto 5% depending on the dryer. Do treat the fabric before washing as you would after it is made. One benefit of the hobocloth is how the wool and linen felt together over time creating an even softer and cuddlier fabric. Enjoy it!
